Membership Development Conference

CPD is becoming an increasingly important part of working life and many more associations are now looking at how they can better provide professional development services to their members.

This month, Jacqui will be holding a session at the forthcoming MemNet Membership Development Conference.

Taking place in Whitehall on 28th April 2010, Jacqui will be discussing the rise in CPD and providing tips on how to offer a more flexible and inclusive CPD service to your members. She will be covering how to engage members and offering advice on how to help them get the most out of your learning.

Course spotlight: Financial Management in Turbulent Times

We’re pleased to hear that our peer-enriched learning courses are proving popular with learners, and the collection is continuing to grow with the latest addition Financial Management in Turbulent Times. This course, like the others in the suite, stimulates debate and dialogue about financial management and helps learners think through their approach to their work. In the course, learners are prompted to think through how the volatility which characterises today’s business environment and how they are, or might be, responding.

Coming up ...


We’ve got a number of new courses publishing in the next few months, covering topics such as the promotion and direct marketing of a professional practice, the steps involved in buying a business, managerial megatrends and financial control and the implementation and maintenance of lean methods.

Looking further ahead, we’ll be publishing courses on managing professionals for results, innovation and investment appraisal. For more details of the forthcoming publishing programme, keep an eye on our website or get in touch with us.


 
What do your learners think?

The first results of the completion questionnaire in our accounting and finance courses are now in, and, we’re pleased to report that 93% of learners rate our courses, overall, as good or excellent. What’s more 95% would recommend the online learning to a colleague.

We hope that learners will find our forthcoming courses just as useful and enjoyable, and we’ll be reporting on the results every three months. If you have the Accounting and Finance completion questionnaire you will have recently received a copy of your gateway’s results, which we hope you’ve found helpful. We’ll be reporting back with more details of learner feedback in the next issue of the partners’ newsletter.


 
Technology help

How to guidesAre you getting the most out of the technology behind your online courses? Imago is able to provide all sorts of reports about learner usage and registrations, as well as detailed tracking information on an individual learner’s progress.

We’ve got a number of tips to help you find the information that you need, which you will find in the technology section of our partners’ area.

We’ll also be releasing “How to” guides on the areas that our partners and clients use the most. You’ll automatically receive a copy of these from your project manager when they are released. In the meantime, if you have any questions about our technology or how to run a particular report just get in touch.
