We've recently been working on a new project for an organisation called Patient Opinion. Patient Opinion is an organisation committed to using patient stories to bring about service improvement in the NHS.

Our job is to create an online programme that helps health professionals understand the benefits of the Patient Opinion service and enables them get the most out of it.

The Patient Opinion service is about promoting honest and meaningful conversations between patient and service providers. It works by encouraging patients to share their stories and enabling service providers to understand, respond and, in many cases change, based on the conversation.

Much of the information about what Patient Opinion is and how to use it is already available on the website. What we're aiming to do with the course is to change attitudes and give learners the skills and tools to be able to use the service well, efficiently and in a way that will bring about positive improvement in services.

How are we going to do that? By sharing stories of course. How else?
