So I've been giving it some serious thought and I've finally decided on my favourite feature of the Imago system. You guessed it - the activation code generator.

You didn't guess it? Oh.

A client might - as many do - choose to set up a system which securely auto-registers the user. But if they did, I'm about to let you in on what they'd be missing.

If you don't already know, our "classic" activation code is a randomly generated string of characters and digits. Often they look like this:

L-QUITE-0392-NORMAL-3

Our clients can set these codes to provide their learners with different lengths and levels of access to their resources. Even though they're generated completely randomly, it's surprising how often the activation code generator throws up weird and pleasing combinations of words. Here are a few I selected, all from the same batch...

L-GOATS-0266-BALLAD-4

L-PLUMS-0645-UPHELD-6

L-SNAIL-0813-MIDDAY-4

Sometimes there are headlines waiting to happen...

L-ASCOT-0425-UPROAR-0

L-FROGS-0253-TRIPLE-5

L-VICAR-0420-SECRET-5

...the ability to control the weather...

L-GUSTS-0837-HUSHED-1

...imagining you can see a pub after a too-long countryside walk...

L-RURAL-0548-MIRAGE-7

.....trying to provide a description of the cheeky beggar who stole your nuts...

L-FURRY-0719-TAILED-6

...the dental police...

L-FLOSS-0718-WARDEN-6

...or even fashion news from the red carpet...

L-PROUD-0856-QUIFFS-0

Let's just put it this way: if you ever get a spreadsheet of access keys through from us, don't forget to appreciate the wonder of random generation (and of course, check for rude-sounding codes to email round the office.)

This is L-PULPY-0754-JASPER-5 signing off...
